Week 3 has shown us all so much. Gabrielle is getting bigger by the minute and filling out as you can see from her pictures (just a few loveable rolls starting to come out.) She was 7.4 for her weigh in on Monday so she's getting lots to eat. Breast feeding has been challenging. We try every feeding but have resorted to pumping as backup. Bath time is getting easier...we had our first cry free bath but I think it might have had something to do with her discovering her beautiful reflection in the mirror! Can't wait to see what week 4 brings us...

Michele MacDougall: Hi Amy & Joe Gabrielle is so beautiful we are so happy for all of you. I am glad to see that I was not the only one with feeding and bathing problems. I am sure Makayla's bath time was the most stressful part of my day and breastfeeding was no treat either!! But rest assured it will change, today you can't get her out of the tub.

Well Gabrielle is 2 weeks old already and Mom and Dad can't believe how much she has changed in just 14 days. Gabrielle had her 2nd visit to the doctor this past week and everything is going great, she now weighs 6lbs 11oz and getting bigger every day.

Grampy Doucette arrived on Friday and now Granny Em has to share!!! Gabrielle meet Great Uncle Steve and Great Uncle Larry on Friday and spent a couple of hours visiting them.
We have added some new pics today so enjoy!!!

Baby Gabrielle is gorgeous - not sure who she looks like. Can't wait to see her when I'm up in a couple of weeks....

I hear you are breast feeding - I lasted a week - just didn't work out... I still remember when people would ask if I bottle fed or breast - it would make me get all teary eyed because it didn't work out... it is what it is - I laugh now but can remember at the time it was terrible.

We can't believe Gabrielle is a week old already!!! Gabrielle, Mommy & Daddy are doing great and Gabrielle has gain 2 ounces over the last couple of days. Mommy and Daddy has gotten into a routine(so far)and starting to become pros at changings diapers and getting ready for feeding!!!

Gabrielle sends hugs and Kisses to everyone.

Wow, we can't believe it's day 4 already and we think we might have found our groove. Baby Gabrielle is doing fabulous...eat, sleep, and poop seem to be the schedule so far! Daddy knows his stuff and Granny Em is so very helpful! We are all loving every minute of it - she is melting hearts left right and centre!

Hi Everyone..... sorry it has taken a couple of days to write but we have been very busy adjusting to feeding and changing Gabrielle ever few hours!!! Gabrielle and Mom are home and doing great.... Mom is trying to catch up on her sleep.
We wanted to thank everyone for their wonderful comments and phone calls. Gabrielle is looking forward to meeting everyone very soon.

Gabrielle had her first Doctor's visit today, and everything went well.

We will try and add pictures every few days. So check back often.
