What did February bring us - LOTS! We started the month off with a Beach themed 4th birthday party for our "baby G" who's not a little baby anymore. With lots of family (Thanks Michele and Nana for taking time out of their shopping extravaganza to join us for cake!) and friends. Gabrielle is growing like a weed - it must be all that pasta! She celebrated her special day with Pepper the clown who remains a big crowd pleaser in our small group. Lots of balloon hats, magic tricks and face painting for all. Even the Mommies got theirs done too! It was special having Ms. Laura there as well before she takes off on her adventure of a lifetime in Cambodia. We wish her lots of love and luck on her mission!
Matthew is getting bigger every day too. He's a man of few words, but high emotions. Loves to laugh, giggle and when the tears come, which isn't often, they come full strength. His final tooth (bottom right incisor has finally broken through) I've got to get better at his doc appts as he's due for another to catch up on his shots. He's a toughie though and we love him to bits.
February also means Florida vacation time. We snuck off to sunny Florida in the midst of a huge family cold. Daddy was the lone soldier standing on this one. Matthew brought it home from daycare and it spread like wild fire from there. As Daddy said, it's better to suffer a cold from Florida than it is from snowy Ontario so off we went. We enjoyed the first few cold days doing activities around town. Loved the Brevard Zoo, disappointed in Jungle Jim's, and yes, we did it...we took the kiddies to Disney World. G got to meet her princesses and we had a great time dancing in the street during the street parties. Our most favourite part of the trip - being together - and G's tag line "this is the life"
With all this excitement in Sept - what could possibly happen in March that compares to this short month!
