Funny that each month has so many milestones/events to celebrate. This month we celebrated both Daddy's birthday and the Easter Bunny's visit.
Matthew is still a man of few words, but who needs to bother if everyone meets your needs before you even know you wanted it! He loves his books and you'll see his ride on firetruck is one of his favourite toys. I haven't even put my noise reduction tape over the siren yet!
Spoiled rotten with everyone serving him hand and foot. He's got a bad habit of pushing which we're trying to work on. A firm no goes along way with this sensitive little guy. Timeouts might be in the works soon enough (though I suspect it's already happening at school)
Gabrielle has our clumsy genes (she really didn't have much hope between Joe and I both) Falling off chairs, tripping over toes, she must be growing again. Already a foot taller than all her classmates in swimming, I might just have to move her up so she doesn't appear to be so much bigger than the other kiddies.
School is going really well. She can write her full name (and that's a feat with 9 letters!) She's almost got Matthew's down pat too. Lots of questions and curios as a bug with everything around her. She's an observant one and there will be no secrets in this house, that's for sure.
We went shopping for Daddy's birthday present and were not home 2 minutes before she shared what we bought for him. Had a wonderful birthday celebration for Daddy. The kiddies both gobbled down their pasta dinners. G knows exactly what she wants and how to get there. How many 4 years olds can make their way to East Side Mario's for dinner! (maybe we eat out too much :-))
We had a great visit with Nana and Gramps during Easter weekend. It's funny that they come all the way to the big city and we end up taking them to the farm. Matthew loved the chocolate, but my walls are covered with brown fingerprints! For someone who didn't want to sit anywhere near the bunny certainly enjoyed his visit to the house. With the help of both Nana and Gramps, the kiddies found all the eggs and had a great time enjoying the great weather and backyard fun!
Love to all! xox
